สาเหตุ สาเหตุหลักนั้นเกิดจากพื้นผิวของไม้ฝาที่มีความเป็นด่าง หรือความเค็มสูง เนื่องจากฝาไม้สำเร็จรูป มีส่วนประกอบจากปูนซีเมนต์และใยหิน ทำให้พื้นผิวมีฤทธิ์เป็นด่าง ซึ่งด่างที่เกิดขึ้นนี้ จะทำปฏิกิริยากับสีที่ทาทับบนพื้นผิว โดยจะทำให้กาวลาเท็กซ์เสื่อมสภาพ อีกทั้งยังทำให้ผงแม่สีซีดจางลง จนเกิดปัญหาของการซีดจาง และกลายเป็นฝุ่นสีขาวติดมือ ส่วนสาเหตุอื่นๆนั้น จะเกิดปัญหาในเรื่องของไม้ฝามีความชื้นสูง เช่น ในช่วงฤดูฝน สีเสื่อมสภาพตามอายุการใช้งาน การใช้สีที่มีคุณภาพต่ำ หรือการใช้สีที่ไม่เหมาะสม กับสภาพตัวงาน

การแก้ไข ควรทำความสะอาดสีเก่าที่มีสภาพเสื่อมโทรมออกให้หมด โดยการขัดด้วยแปรงขนพลาสติก และล้างด้วยน้ำสะอาด หรือฉีดล้างด้วยปืนฉีดน้ำแรงดันสูง และทิ้งให้แห้ง หลังจากนั้นให้ทาสีรองพื้นปูนเก่า 1 รอบ และทำการทาสีทับหน้าเป็นขั้นตอนสุดท้าย

Causes High alkali or high salinity is a typical cause of corroded wood panels. As wood boards contain cement and asbestos, the surface can be high in alkali. Alkali urges an interactive effect with the paint film by deteriorating the latex-based adhesives and fading the primary colour pigment. These cause the fading and chalking of paint. Other causes may arise from high humidity of wood due to rainy season, ageing paint, low-quality paint or inappropriate use of paint.

Solution Remove corroded paint using a stiff brush and wash with clean water. Alternatively, do the power washing. Leave dry. Apply the primer on original substrate and refinish.
