ปัญหาสีทาสายไฟไม่แห้ง(Wet Painted Cords)

สาเหตุของปัญหา สีทาสายไฟไม่แห้งพบว่า โดยมากจะเกิดในสีเกรดสูงและสีเกรดชิลด์ เนื่องจากในสีเกรดนี้จะมีสารเติมแต่งบางตัว ที่เป็นสารช่วยให้สีมีคุณสมบัติ ในการจัดเรียงตัวของฟิล์มสี (ในสีเกรดชิลด์จะมีสารตัวนี้มากกว่าในสีเกรดธรรมดา และสีเกรดต่ำ) เมื่อทาสีลงบนสายไฟ ยางหุ้มสายไฟจะดูดซึมสารเติมแต่งนี้ ทำให้ยางที่หุ้มสายไฟนิ่มและบวม เมื่อใช้มือแตะดูจึงมีลักษณะเหนียวมือเหมือนสีไม่แห้ง

การป้องกัน ไม่แนะนำให้ทาสีลงบนสายไฟโดยตรง โดยเฉพาะสีเกรดสูงหรือเกรดชิลด์ แต่ให้ใช้สีน้ำพลาสติกเกรด มอก. หรือเกรดธรรมดาทาทับลงไปก่อน แล้วค่อยทาสีเกรดชิลด์ทับ

การแก้ไข ควรจะ ทำความสะอาดพื้นผิว ให้สะอาดเคลือบสีในเกรด มอก.หรือเกรดธรรมดาทาทับลง ไปก่อน 1 ~ 2 เที่ยว หลังจากนั้น เคลือบสีทับหน้า

Wet Painted Cords

Causes Problem exists when using high-quality and Shield-graded paints as these coats contain film- setting composition by which cords will naturally absorb them. Coated cords become swollen and softened, while remain damp at all time. Shield-graded paint will contain more of this composition than typical or low-quality paint. Prevention Painting bare cords is not recommended, particularly using high-quality or Shield-graded paint. Use water-based plastic or normal paint to prepare surface before coating with Shield-graded paint. Solution Clean the surface thoroughly. Prepare with normal coat for 1-2 times and refinish with Shield-graded paint.
