เมื่อผ่นสีรถยนต์แล้วเกิดผิวส้ม (Orange Peel)

ปัญหาสีผ่นเกิดรอยผิวส้ม (Orange Peel)

สาเหตุ 1. สีที่ใช้มีความหนืดสูงหรือข้นเกินไป 2. ชนิดของทินเนอร์ที่ใช้ระหายเร็วเกินไป 3. ระยะปืนพ่นสีกับชิ้นงานขณะพ่นห่างเกินไป 4. อุณหภูมิของชิ้นงาน หรือบริเวณที่พ่นสูงเกินไป

การป้องกัน 1. เลือกใช้ทินเนอร์ที่เหมาะสมกับบริเวณที่พ่น โดยทำตามคำแนะนำในคู่มือการพ่นสี 2. ปรับความข้นเหลวของสีให้เหมาะสมกับสภาพแวดล้อมการใช้งาน 3. ใช้ปืนพ่นสีให้ถูกต้องไม่ว่าจะเป็นระยะห่าง ความดันลม ปริมาณสี ฯลฯ

การแก้ไข 1. ถ้าเกิดรอยผิวส้มเล็กน้อยขัดด้วยยาขัด 2. ถ้าเกิดรอยผิวส้มมาก อบสีให้แห้งแล้วขัดด้วยกระทรายเบอร์ 400 หรือเบอร์ละเอียดกว่า จากนั้นก็พ่นสีทับอีกครั้ง

Causes 1. Paint is too high in viscosity 2. Using the paint thinner which evaporates too fast 3. Distance of spray gun from the surface at the time of spraying is too far 4. Temperature of the spraying area or work surface is too high Prevention 1. Select the Thinner which suits the temperature and working environment. Consult the spray manual for best result. 2. Adjust the viscosity of paint according to working environment 3. Use and adjust the spray gun properly, ranging from controlling distance between the gun and work surface, level of air pressure, paint volume, and etc. Solution 1. For few orange peels, sand them down and refinish. 2. In extreme cases, bake dry and sand down using the Sanding Paper no. 400 or more delicate type. Refinish.
